If you want to mount a plastic rear bumper to a pre-88 car, you have to cut the ends off and shorten it.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I've gone over this so many times, probably in this thread...

I would swap to euro bumpers IF I could find a good condition M-Tech I kit, and only the full kit. It's the only kit I like that goes with euro bumpers, and the likelyhood of finding one coupled with the cost of not only the purchase, but then having it shipped over here from Europe FAR outweighs the cost of the swap I'm currently doing.

But thank you for the words of encouragement, I know this swap is going to come out perfectly and be one of the best around. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to this sort of thing, I don't fuck around and I don't go half-assed. :up:

Yeah, I know that, but for some reason, I thought Ritalin said that he didn't have to chop the bumper when he put the valence on.. I could be wrong...

I'll be interested in how this goes and how much work it will take. I need to repare a rip in my rear valance, and I have been thinking about cutting it behind the bumper and replacing the whole thing replacing the whole thing.
