Rivets, however... ugh. I've never been to OR so I don't know how bad the winter weather is or if they salt the roads, but that sounds like a great way to get some really kickass hidden rust, IMO.
They will be fine. My car will no longer be driven in the winter, so stuff on the roads is of no concern to me. My car will spend its winters sheltered from the elements in my new garage from now on.

Parker, we get started as soon as my new bumpers get here, which should be very soon.

Hey Josh, good luck. I hope it turns out well for you. The valance is a big problem in the swap (just doing the bumper looks weak) so I am glad you got one to go on.

Take lots of pics.. sticky maybe?

      Sold it.

I will be doing a full write-up on how to do the rear apron swap, and when it's done, I'll post it in the tech section.

So do you expect us to be proud of you or something, Josh?

I thought so. Gives those who haven't considered it an option for a rear apron.

Although, if you were being sarcastic, I didn't catch what you were getting at. :D

josh, why dont u rivit it up just to position it, and then have some1 weld it on, so that u can get a nice seal, and hit it with por15. im sure any muffler shop could weld it on if its already in position..

Andrew is a quite proficient welder. Don't worry, we'll figure out a good way to get it mounted.

What are you going to be driving in the winter? I thought they only sand the roads out there anyways, not like the salt I see here in NE.

I'm going to buy just a little beater pickup, like a Toyota or a Nissan, something that's good in the snow, and good for hauling shit around.

Done.. well almost.. needs a good cleaning, fiberglass a few spots, sanding, final primer, more sanding and paint but the conversion is finished.
