      Updates!

      Engine goes in.

Mounted 2 of the m-systems on the pass side. Much better than the e46 wheels, although the z3 rear is quite wide for an et20 wheel.

And tucked away with my buddy's m20 turbo car.

He even starts and runs (open headers). First start video after priming oil and fuel system.

What size tires are you running on the M Systems? the fitment looks great

              They're 215/40 Federal 595 front and rear.
17x8 et20 no spacers. Gives you an idea of how wide the z3 rear is compared to e36 m3 front. lol

                Exciting!

Are there recorded measurements what hubs / Trailing arms change rear track width?

I have Msystem's with 205/50 and I had to do a decent roll for it to clear, With M coupe trailing arms. Still rubs here and there.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

Not that I know of. I'm planning on measuring the width between the mounting surfaces of the rotors on this car and my '87 IS before and after doing the z4 rear hub\e46 brake conversion.

Slowly coming together still. Don't have a ton of time to work on it, but I'm trying to use my free time wisely.

M42 radiator ready to go in.

Radiator in and cooling system gets filled under vacuum.

Also rubbed the intake manifold down with some plastic restorer. Was faded pretty badly as you can see in my last post. Cooling system buttoned up, holds proper temperature, and the vents are blowing hot. I'll call that a successful bleed.

Next up is some exhaust work and then first drive.

Going back to the standard E30 Trailing arm?

Nah, this car will stay with whats there for now. Trying to keep this one a "budget build." My 87 will be the one getting swapped to 5 lug with the z4/e46 stuff.
