I'm new here so I introduce me, sorry my toy whats more important :)
(Sorry my bad grammar)
It's a -88 325iX and I bought it from Inglostadt in Germany.
Drove it home to Finland back in -02.
It had a rwd gearcase so I had to by another 4d wrecked one to get parts.
Interior was tuned up by some youngsters by yellow paint on all handlees and airoutlets etc. a very small red Formuling steeringwheel :D
We fixed those and then I got other interests so it had to wait.
It had been waiting on the yard almoust since that until I wake it up in about -15.
Ok, som small test driving etc so it wouldn't die :)

It was pretty low. It had 9x16 rims with very thin rubbers. Sold them one day couse I needed some cash :(
It have 'black optic' Hella? front lights.

Started to give some love to it by first change all springs and shocks.
Now there is rwd 6cyl stock springs around but we had to shorten those front springs a little bit to fit them. But now I think they are nice stiffer than normally. Sachs gas/oil sport shocks.
On ice track I don't use stabilizer at all.

Interior was pretty clean except bad driver seat.

Had to put on some hood pins because the opening wire was broken and that looks more 'racing' :D

Time for first race. Here with team mate with her 318.
We use Continental IceContact stud tires 185/60x15.
Rules are that u have to use normal street legal winter tires.

First comp with old tires was not so bad. Second, only one and a half tenth after winner. Had my old tires from last race two years ago (with Golf 4motion). Next comp with new tires was a win :)
Last winter was no driving and winter before that was only one comp because of bad weather and no ice. That only come I failed by drivig on a frocen rim in the snow and broke a tyre just before start.
Now I started to refresh it for winterseason -19.
Got new seats, steering wheel and gearshifter whit short movement for better touch.

Brakes have been destroyd by long parking outside. Ok, on icetrack u don't need so much of them but u have abs for no locking :D So now its time for new everything. I decided to use standard brakes. Only pads ar going to be a bit softer. Thinking about EBC yellow stuff?

Now it's coming some shine :)

Changed new rubbers for front driveshaft.
