It sucks that the only updates I have for my lovely E30 is vids of the E28 doing what the E30 should be doing! None the less, I had a fun time today out at the auto-x, and again got the class win & top PAX time!!!

Here is a super trendy instagram photo of the E30 as it hibernates this summer.

The E30 is still broken, so the M5 was put in service again.

Ended up winning the class and PAX time!

Did it on a trade + cash deal on the H&R's. He definitely got the better deal, but I didn't get robbed.

In other news, AST says that they can fix the strut by putting AST 5100's in them...

I don't think it was modified for camber, because the other strut in the set is good to go. I acquired these to finish off my AST install in partial trade for my old bilsteins. The dent didn't look as bad in the pictures I received, and Vorshlag said they couldn't repair it. I'm going to take it to a local offroad suspension fab shop and see if they can stick a new 51mm tube on it off a normal E30.

I'd say that tube has been modified for more camber. Nothing wrong with that. But the bent strut tube certainly is a problem. I'd say that is a minor concern. My car has been off the track going on 7 months now.

Re-Built, Built engine after bearing failure, has been on dyno half a dozen times due to numerous trivial yet troubling problems. Last session all was looking rosey and then a bunch of metal some how found its way through the fuel filter. I am now down one nice CP piston and praying the bore has not been damaged by the severe lean out / piston failure.

What the heck? That is one ugly strut tube, how did you bend it? lateral loads or was the wheel hitting the strut?

Why Stuttgart? Plenty of people in the states do good work, heck I found the guy that polished the lips after googling for 5 minutes for a local, turns out he does amazing work! If you must go overseas, Roland at feltec does awesome work, and it's just 30 minutes outside spang... free shipping!
