    RARE orig. Euro body kit

so, today I finished working on a "uhhmmm" interesting car.
It is a 1988 euro 320i. The owner of it is an American retired U.S. Army guy.
he bought it new in 1988 and has been the only owner of it. It has 92,000 km on it, but it looks like it has about 450,000km on it. Its had a rough life, and he has no love for it seeing as he drives a 1 year old e class benz.
So he asked me to check it over for him and get it ready for winter. Front control arms were shot, but the best was, the oil wasnt changed in the last 5 years, and the timing belt was done when the car had 49,000km on it----------10 YEARS AGO!
So I thought I would take some pics cause it is exactly as it left the dealership. the rims and the bodykit were BMW orig. options back then.
pretty rare kit, and very interesting taste involed in it.
so, check out the pics i was so nice to take of it today.

Kind of reminds me of my rare Volvo style grilles I picked up a while back - the red ones.

Sometimes things are rare because they are ugly and no one wanted them . . .

Not my style but cool none the less. I h8waste. I hate to see things not cared for, sure it's his and he can drive it off a cliff but it still pisses me off.

I believe i saw such a front bumper before..

It looks rather radical to be from Bimmer itself. I wonder then if some tuner company sold it through BMW then...?

Would be great if you could dig up the part numbers Mikeedler

Those are not BMW original body items.

I remember seeing some european online place selling that "bodykit" years and years ago (about 7 years ago). I remember sort of likeing the rear bumper.

If you can take a picture of a BMW stamp on it or part number, I'll take your word for it, but without that, I'll say it's definitely not BMW.
