Very nice E30. If you're going to keep the diving boards, have you thought about drilling the shocks and tucking them? Once the surrounds are painted body color, they'll look a lot better.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The silver of the wheels seems to go well with the lachssilber E30. I guess even the staff @ Total BMW magazine thought so as well since their lachssilber E30 M3 project car ("EWOK") is now wearing a set of these zender turbos in 16" (can be seen in Nov 2006 issue). As far as tucking the DBs, the car has numerous dents, dings, and scratches on its skin that my pictures so graciously hide. Until it gets fixed up and sent to the body shop (which is looking a few years out), its pretty much going to stay the way that it is.

I know I am rocking the "i" lip on there now, but I'm wondering how it would look w/ the Reiger Infinity lip left in black. What do you guys think? I could use a good lowering and some increased aero as the car was wandering all over the highway @ 80mph, since it was very windy today.

Glad to see a well used impreza, since it is designated a World Rally cross (hence the WRX), and is World rally blue mica none the less. Nice e30 too.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

Thanks! I just picked up a set of H&R sport springs. I plan on matching them up w/ some Bilstein sport shocks come early spring. It has a rear E30 M3 bar on it now and I may put a convertible bar up front.

I was thinking the same thing about the dtm oz's and the car being slammed, would give off a nice touring look...

cool cars. I am diggin them both, but what isd with the shaved "taco" license plate on the front of both of em.
BTW I think the wheels are cool, in am 80s way. I would rock them anytime.

That is just a radial blur in photoshop to obscure the license plates. I do it to all photos I take of my car and others just to be on the safe side.

As far as the wheels go, they are a close resemblence to the ronal turbos (that I would have gotten if these didnt come up for sale) that people use to use on the 323i and 325i race cars in the ETCC before teams switched to the M3:

ETCC was only one year. 1987, Ravaglia won it, hence the "Europameister/European Champion" edition of the E30 ///M3. They started the ETCC back up last year (which BMW owns in again). Plus that car is 4 lug. All Touring Cars use center-lock wheels. Plus they have the chrome metal bumpers, definitely not something the factory would use for professional racing (due to weight) Definitely a nice picture, though. Those numbers look uncannily like the ones used in the ETCC, though. hmmm

I think you may be thinking about the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) which was for only one year and recently restarted. The ETCC (European) goes way back to 1963 as demonstrated on this site: http://homepage.mac.com/frank_de_jong/Pages/ETCC.html

Check out some of the amazing touring cars of history like the turbo volvos that BMW used to race 323i's and 635CSi's against:
