No worries man. Even us 323i, 325i, and 325e guys like to enjoy some connections to the race cars of ye good ole days. I believe it was Ray Korman who actually took the 325e to victory at the 24 hrs of Watkins Glen in the 80s before the arrival of the 325i and M3. It was torque and reliability that won the day over the more powerful cars like the Porsche 944s.
Both the WRX and E30 look good. Have you thought about painting the vent part of those Zenders black, and polishing the flat part, making a sort-of "bullseye" design. I've seen it done before, it looks awesome.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I plan on making some of the meets this coming Spring in the NY/NJ/CT area.
Vlad, your cars are nothing short of AMAZING! A coworker was looking at selling his WRX wagon and buying an E30 M3 in the next few months. I showed him your car as a fine example of a tastefully modified M3 in true racing livery. I think he is hooked now. The only problem would be whether he would drive the E30 M3 or his brand new EVO 9 now.
The WRX is definitely a quicker car than the E30. But the usable torque makes my 327i a better daily driver. Turbo lag, while minimized, is still present on the WRX and can be a pain sometimes. Being able to just stab the gas on the bimmer makes it more fun to drive as well. I am definitely going to keep it N/A and when the bottom end gets rebuilt, I will up the C:R with custom pistons, a hotter cam, and headers.
A 93 octane 19lber chip is in my near future mods along with suspension (bilstein sport + H&R sports) and brakes.
