Even though it looks much better now , I still think of it as my cheap "beater" and don't plan on spending any real $$ on it .

I've already gotten a serious offer of $2,500 without the wheels and M-techI . :D

Status on my other E30 is as follows :

White '90 325is : Currently gathering upgrade parts for my S52 buildup while still throwing little parts at it while I can .

Black '88 325is : Body was in perfect shape just waiting to go into the booth for a full respray .
Now it sits wrecked 100 miles away and I still don't know the extent of the damage . :(

Red '89 325is : Just need to finish up the 5-spd swap and its a driver .
Will be for sale as is or with new paint for slightly more .

Primered '86 eta : Just sitting around waiting for when I have time to swap in the 2.7 "i" engine and finish the plastic bumper swap .

Black '89 325is : My old black car . Still sitting on the back burner until I can spare the time to repair the wreck damage and perform the M50 swap .


So judging by that list I guess that makes the little 318 my official "e30" now . :D

Yeah its great being behind the wheel of a decent E30 again but its making me wish I was driving one of my other real projects . :(

I was playing around with those water shots , trying to get a nice reflection but it was too windy and the water was choppy as hell .
Plus the sun was going down so I was losing light , that one came out nice but I had been shooting in 1600x1200 earlier and my camera ran out of memory so these are a little smaller .

Yeah I must say that its coming along nicely .
And the best part is I have spent $0 on it so far .
All the cosmetics and most of the maintenance is all stuff that I already have on hand .

Just waiting for the fog blanks to come in then I'm gonna color match the Rieger lip, M-TechI, different ft valance, "is" lip, different trunklid and the Zender Evo rear wing .

Then it will be done . :roll:
