Some install pics of my E30M30 turbo...

So i got the turbo installed. Completely done. All i need is the fuel pressure gauge and I can start it up. I put 10W40 in her and all engine painting is completed. This is a Stage I kit, running 9psi. Not sure about hp, but they said i should expect around 290rwhp, which isn't crazy, but the TQ should really stand out. I'll plug Todd here, got it from www.turbochargingdynamics.com and couldn't be happier with everything from the installation and especially the technical support. It was a great experience. Enjoy the pics. I'm sorry for the poor quality cell phone pics.

      Non intercooled eh?

That is a pretty bad ass setup.

Keep us updated for sure. My brother and I have a spare e30 and a 745 motor just chillin. That project is going to start soon.

When the car is painted in march/april, i'll do a video of it completed. Check out my other threads about my rolling paint job.

yeah, it's non intercooled for now, see how i like it. Intercooling it will add more weight to the front end (which i have too much of already!). Not to mention, another 2k for intercooling it. I'm going to save some money for now.

Torque numbers will range around..325rwtq-350rwtq at 9psi. If i intercool it, I can run around 11psi, but not much more.
with intercooled setup, i can easily hit 350rwhp/375rwtq, which will be fine enough for me!

It was a relatively straightforward setup and everything fit like a glove (even the exhaust downpipe which was provided for me as part of the kit. TCD even took my pass motor mount bracket and created a brand new one to clear the turbo as part of the kit.

and that's why i'm afraid to intercool it.. because i am not an experienced enough driver to handle it....

Yea..more important the M30 makes GOBS of torque. Hope you have long gearing and good tires. Looking good man. TCD makes a great product.

So the bottom mount fits no problem? That's good to hear, how is the clearance against the passenger side mount?

Wow. That's bad ass man. I hate engine bays that are that busy/cramped though.

I know the engine bay's cramped, It's hard to fit a 3.5 with a turbo in that little space. TBH, i'm suprised that everything fit!

The passenger mount fits no problem bc i had it modified by TCD.

Unfortunately, I have S3.73 in the rear. I want S3.25 and am willing to trade if possible.
