
A little background for you...
2 Days following this picture I blew the motor getting on the freeway.

I'm a nissan guy so I had this sitting around but sadly it was too much fab work to fit. RB25DET for those of you who are brand loyal to something other then nissan. The engine block measures about as long as it is firewall to radiator support.

I also had this sitting around doing nothing. It was much smaller and 4 cylinder and has been in 2 cars so far. So of course you know what had to happen...
This thread is to chronicle my KA24DE-T into my shiny 800$ 1988 e30.

Step 1. Rip the old motor out, and throw it in the dumpster. Rip out the ABS nonsense, extra brackets, and all wiring.

Step 2. Rip out all chassis wiring to make way for much more concise, truncated racecar wiring. Ditch the pedals too (i got something special comming for that).
