Those seats look pretty cool! I have seen other seats done with their kits and none of them looked that good, they usuaully look kinda blocky. Very sweet!

Nice! Needs some -camber upfront if this car was built for some track use user :-D . I like the seats, did the side bolsters come in half suede half vinyl or you had to switch them onto the factory vinyl ?

Ron said he lived down south and brought his car up to him.

I think it looks pretty good but a lot of the stuff you've done cosmetically is really tacky. All the stickers on the body, the red stripe, the LTW flag, the removed high beams, the clear corners, the valve cover, the black C-pillar trim, the shaved (?) moldings, all look really lame to me.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

^^^ Im not a fan of the stickers either.

but i like the valve cover....that red stripe thing.....the clears.

I think its great cuz you took what everybody does and twisted it into something you like.

good work. more picture of the bar.

Thanks for the comments. Even the negative. If you look at some of my other albums, you'll notice I really changed it up this time.

                    Some answers consolidated:
I live near Woodinville. I traded Ron a motor and Trans for his labor on a long list of items.
                    The helmet hasn't rubbed yet.
I think the side skirts are IS. hey came with the car.
I love the suede. They are weather appropriate and you don't slide on them. I don't like leather seats. they usually get ugly looking and you slide on them too much.
This is the 2nd time I've installed this seat kit. Maybe the cloth is easier to make fit well. You can pick or mix any materials you want.

                    An important lesson learned:
This is the 3rd time I've bought an out of state car, but it's the first time I didn't see it in person or have it inspected. I didn't think that the price warranted it, especially because I bought it from a BMW club guy that's on a lot of these forums. Big Mistake! This car was full of surprises. It had been in a significant accident that did't show on carfax, it had multiple rust thrus. It turned out to be what I'd call a beater with a few nice parts put on. I repaired the rust, and put on a cheap paint job. My intent was a nice street car that could double as an auto-x-er. But the $ it would take to make this car really nice would be rediculas. So I opted for more of a track rat that looks pretty clean. I know it's not to everyones liking, but tha's ok.
Anyway, beware of trusting too much just because the seller is a known BMW community guy.
