PROPS for the progress. Looks like its really coming along. nice rescue!

the exhaust is a spare i had from one of my parts cars. when we removed the old one from my car to replace the gaskets it broke at the downpipe, leaving me no choice but to put this sweet ass one on.

I believe hes talking about the manifolds, and yes, hes right. The engine came out of an e28, and had e28 manifolds/downpipes, which don't clear the e30 firewall.

And yes, I am cool for not realizing that. Not nearly as cool as the fact that I bolted the engine to a super eta transmission to put in the car. The trans that came with the car had bad shift detents or something, so I bolted the super eta trans up and dropped it in. I got the wiring hooked up, crawled underneath to install the CPS bell housing sensors....oh wait.... super eta's transmissions don't have holes for them. FUCK. So back out it came, and that's when I took the middle finger picture. Mainly because it took 4 hours to remove, as I left a washer on the motor mount as I lifted the engine. This bent the washer and jammed it on the motor mount, creating the largest hassle known to ever occur in my garage.

Friends don't let friends by eta's. Lesson learned.

haha i was on my way home and saw the spot so it was a spur of the moment thing. trust me, its not because your car is gazellebeige lol. and its at the entrance to the old quarry, theres a hill and i just ran up it quick and snapped a shot.
