Picked up the car yesterday..... all good except that it is running too rich
and is not delivering all the power :( Will be fixed after easter - cannot
use the power now anyways, it´s snowing at the Ring.

Here are some pics from when we picked up the cars from Tauber:

And here is a pic from the Ring - interesting conditions:

I said it before, and I'll say it again. I would love to meet up with you. I am only about 40min. from where your keeping your car. I would really love to see your car up close.

Beautiful, but do the tow drivers really need the bright red arrow pointing to the bright red tow hook? It really detracts from the car, IMO.

im pretty sure most cars that are on the track have to have that arrow, correct me if im wrong im a track newbie still (even after a 3 day skip barber racing experience)

beautiful car, congrats. how is it around the ring what are your times?

You gotta know where to hook the tow lines up to when this thing goes spinning off the "Ring." From what I've seen though, this is a very purpose oriented car, and while it is definitely astounding, and looks amazing...it's no show car. Although the quality of what has been done to it would put it up in those ranks.

Almost every sanctioned racing body requires an arrow or something to denote where the tow hook is.

Back from the Ring. Interesting trip - lots of snow and bloody cold!!!

Also got to drive the GP track which was very interesting - much nicer track than I
                          had expected.

Unfortunately my car was having power/boost issues all weekend and finally the
supercharger gave up. So now I will have to get it rebuilt. The good thing is
that now I will get all the power back ;)

PS. Mike - I´m usually in such hurry when I´m at Tauber to pick up the
car - but you could drop by their shop soon to look at the car while it´s
                          there.

Just got some news regarding the supercharger:

a ) The SC is out of warranty since it was produced in 2001
b ) No spare parts available for such an old SC
                              c ) Need to buy a new one :-x

So now a new SC with a 2 year warranty will be sent
to Tauber and hopefully I´ll get the full 470 horses....

470hp is just enough in an E30 M3;)
