Sorry Chris, no updates as of yet. I went on vacation THE DAY the motor and everything came in so that put us a little behind schedule again. Plus, this last week as been crazy at work, and my E28's clutch master and(or) slave cylinder decided to crap out on me, so I have to work on that.

Other things that I need before I can put the front subframe back in the car and start the suspension/brake/engine install. -

    Water Pump.
    Power Steering Pump.
Clean up the Oil Filter Housing. A lot.
A whole shitload of random bolts, nuts, etc.
Make some spacers so the Z3 Rack will fit.

Chris, I may start on it tomorrow (after I fix the E28 of course), but I really need to have all the pieces before I start. The shop is on Rt.110 in Shelton. PM me if you want the address.

    Thanks, Ben

Damn you r3v boys are sharp. It is certainly different from the stock M42 valve cover (as previously stated by mattdk318i). Jim Rowe at Metric Mechanic used a process (which I cannot recall off hand at this late hour), but adds a very unique look.

Yeah, they are expensive, but worth it.
Haha, I knew you were going to say something about the wheels. Something in your sig just gave me a feeling...lol. I got an amazing deal on them for $180 with decent tires(except the tires are different sizes) I personally love the way these ones look, with a large polished lip, and the way they will expose the M Roadster brakes.

        Thanks for the compliments.

Things are getting much closer. Just a few more pieces and the engine should be in in a few weeks.

Thank you sir. You can stop by anytime you want to really. I've just starting gathering parts for an M30 swap into a 90 325i 4dr. too. :p

I don't know if you realize this or not , but that looks like the tb of a vw 1.8t. In the dub world alot of us with 1.8t's take the tb and turn it 90degrees so more air can get into teh manifoldzzzz. So the flat black part of the tb would be facing the hood. Just a thought, look at the way the tb opens and you may agree.
