A dinan e30 isn't anything special anyway
Dinan got a few things right.

Agreed, except for the superchargers. And seriously, $450 for mats when they list for $159 on their website...

Dinan is the only CARB certfied SC available, and will plug and play like no other. Very well engineered, and priced that way, too. Dinan software for Steptronic trannys is awesome, but the suspension kits, CAI, exhaust, etc. are less than stellar, especially for how much the cost.Your friend got bent. I paid $100 for my Dinan Mats from the dealer.
Dinan is overpriced, I agree. At the time I bought my supercharger kit, the only other company that was offering them was RMS and ESS. Dinan's kit is expensive, but its engineered very well. Much better than the other two kits that were available at the time. It wasnt until 6 months later that AA began offering their SC. If I had to do it again, I would probably go Dinan just because the Vortech has more room to play than the Rotrex in terms of raising the boost.
Dinan has a "point" system by which your car qualifies for the badge, which is 10 points by the way. The supercharger gets you an automatic 10 pts and things like floormats are only worth 1 pt. It's all on the Dinan website...
Dont forget, Dinan mods have no effect on your factory warranty.I Timothy 2:1-2Comment

$1000 for a rebaffled stock e30 exhaust is awesome, I want one. Sounds pretty good, if you like rasp.
They're hp gain claims are a bit inflated as well, 15hp gain from a catback?
I guess if you want to modify a brand new bimmer it's the way to go but otherwise, there are far better choices available in most cases.

What? I said it sounds good, if you like rasp, which some people do. I'm not exaggerating, it's $999 for their catback right? It is a stock, rebaffled exhaust right? It's raspy isn't it?
No offense

Who cares about all of your cars.Sorry, but you've got no room to be criticizing anyone's car.
If you want to criticize each other start a stickie thread.
Otherwise say what you think about the guy's car and be off.
The kid likes it. If you want to discuss the quality vs. cost of Dinan, start a post.
I think it looks very nice by the way.
Any plans for the future?Yours truly,
Rich
