thanks mang, really enjoy them, they help me keep my old ars in some sort of shape.

Went for a Full Moon ride the other day and let me tell you, it's lots of fun.
Trails change so much after dark, all sort of critters running around, and the sounds coming from behind the bushes, oh my, those are always a triller.
Last time there were 2 bats that keep on flying over my head as I waited for the moon to fully rise and skies to gain some darkness,
closed my eyes, opened my ears and listened., there's so many sounds, then a big bush movement, looked over and there was a Deer within 10 feet of me,
he must to been lying there or it's a pretty quiet walker., as fer as the bats go, hahaha, clapped my hands whenever they got too close,
they manuvered away pretty quickly, hahhahaha.YIKES !!!,

Going back this evening, as riding by moonlight is so much fun, I'll only turn the lights on when under darkening tree canopies or very steep rutted descends.,
my cue is "if you can see your shadow then it's alright to ride" :)

Nah mang, Haros are sweet bikes too, great purchasing power to component ratios, Iron Horse's too :) Thanks :)

Not shop owner but made a bunch of insider friends over the years, there's a guy at Easton that CADed a adapter for my road bike,
whenever possible he gives me sweet deals on handle bars, stems and seat posts, road forks too :)

check out www.mybikesite.com and look into trails sections, there's a ton there.
I ride in Los Angeles area, mostly Santa Monica Mountain "Backbone" trail network.
Big Bear, Los Angles national Forrest, etc.

If you can handle long rides, then come joins us at Kernville (lake Isabella). there's a 5,000+ feet descend (The Plunge).
Nice single track, a super sweet weekend get away, camping next to Kern River,
there's a shuttle that drives us up the steep mountain road, $ 36 bucks and well worth it.
    check out http://www.mtnriver.com/bike.htm for info.

Look closely, by rear disc brakes, there's an extra blck stick going into ground, sheeehhh :) see if you can spot the one that balanced it self, heheheh.

The 5 Spot is such a great bike, little Bobing, good angles and xc BB height, best of all it's it's true Horst link chain stay pivot point,
they stopped doing that design as it seems that paying royalties for it was getting out of hand.

I have a friend (shop mechanic) whom may be selling one of his 5 Spots, not sure if Med or Large,
I'll ask., it has true Horst link as the 5*, Burner and Atomik, all original from the days of Specialized FSR designs.

    m first Chi-Chi ride was a 2000 Cannondale Raven 4000sx (2nd generation frame),
built it piece by piece, added a custom valved and shortened to 4: travel Hannebrink G7 fork, in all a super agro 24.5 lbs for when back when 4" was lots of travel,
snapped 3 of them so moved on to the Norco, thing is that the Atomik don't give at all at speed, it's like an arrow which only flights straight,
the Raven's carbon construction flexed just enough at high speed for me to reach a level
that I'm yet to attain with any of the current bikes,
45mph's down a 4 mile, 2,400 ft descend to the beach. what a blast !!!
I miss that bike :(, freaking thing was 24.5 lbs and cost me almost as much as a beat up M3.

another good bike is the Intense 5.5, very light yet lots of plush travel,
built this one for a good female riding buddy.

Here is some pictures of my last car. I sold it a few months ago and got into e30's. I am sure some of you have seen it already, but I am gonna post it up again anyway! Hahaha...

Oh and here is another car that I have that I am currently rebuilding. Before Honda/Acuras and e30s I built a lot of rotaries. Well here is a small teaser of the car I am building. :D

Don't mind all the trash under the car. Hahaha...

I just recently sold my other little toy not too long ago. I plan to get another one soon!

In my industry I have seen many people cross my path, interviewed a very large amount, and it seems the ones WITH college degree's are the cocky ones who don't understand basic concepts, let alone enterprise I.T.

Some people can pull it off, and thankfully I consider myself one of the few that did. I'm a high school dropout with a GED, and have never step foot in a College classroom, let alone paid a single student loan in my life, and for that I am thankful. I know many people who did something very similar to me, and they are all just as successful.

I hope to never work for a biased company that insists on College degree's, and as I said, many are starting to review that policy and realize that they have a much broader workforce available to them by simple dealing with skills, and not pieces of paper. Very soon I will be in executive management at my company, and I'm thrilled to be there, at 23 years of age I would of never considered a different path, and while I cannot recommend the path I took, but gosh darn it, it worked for me.

    My
The only advantage I see to degree's anymore are company's who give mandatory montary bonuses just for having one, like microsoft. Otherwise, DIY IT is the way to go :)

Yeah it was... third, fourth and fifth gear were under my left leg, and in order to get it into reverse I had to reach between my legs, grab the shifter and pull hard to get it into gear. Wait a minute, that don't sound right...
