Sorry to hear about your oilpan.

Your car is fucking badass though. Did you model it after Rat-Stylez, what the VW guys do? I've always wanted to do that to an E30, and seeing yours makes me want to do it even more.

      Ouch...

I like that car, but I believe I still hold the record for most r3v'd oil pan. Tokico FTL.

                Perfect stance.

But I like it best with no patina... is that bad?

                      Truth.

I was looking through your photobucket the other day and I'm way impressed. You have that cabrio slammed on its udders.

It's hard to explain, but basically it LOOKED to be an asphalt repair the entire width of the lane and about 5 foot long. When I was about 6 feet in front of it, I noticed that it was in fact, not level. And deep. I'm guessing as my car went down, there was just enough time for my suspension to compress and my pan to reach the level of the raised edge on the far end of the temporary road repair. Smack. Good game, nice hustle, we had some fun.

What exactly do you do once it gets the patina finish on it? Whats your procedure to make it copper again? Does a simple wash work or do you have to polish?

makes me want to go lower but living in nyc and this being my daily i cannot afford to be busting up oilpans. im on my fourth as it stands.
and im fairly certain ive got the r3v'd oil pan award/oil pump/steering rack
