i went to the junkyard to get my Taurus sideskirt and i found 80% of a mtech 2 kit.

taurus sides look really nice and it was hard to find a pair that wasnt all banged up.

I think I'm going to go with a Hartge replica.

    Its quite simple looking.

Should work well with the skirts.

Besides the "is" and the "ix" skirts, they are not much larger than any of the other skits I've seen that are available.

They don't stick out all that far either. I probably could have just painted the bottom half of the sill and gotten a similar effect.

To tell you the truth, I don't particularly like the ix skirts either, nor any of the after market ones I've seen with the exception of the Breyton models. "is" skirts are too rare and didn't give me enough of an effect to balance the size of my front valance.

Anyway, the cheapness of these skirts will allow me to put more money toward finding a decent rear skirt. I'm thinking of something along the lines of the M-tech or perhaps the racing dynamics one.

    Man, those look good.

I've driven a older Ford Taurus SHO, with a 5-speed and the Yahama V6, it was a very fun car to drive.

I also just stepped on em. I took the two screws off at either end, and didnt bother with the pop screws on the bottom. I took the screws on the ends off, pulled it down a little and stepped on it, inching my way down the side until it popped off. Came off in mint condition too. As for the end caps, I couldnt get the pressure screws off, so I just kinda pulled em and popped it off since i wont be using that screw spot anyway.

I got mine off of a wagon. All i used was my screw driver/can opener on my swiss army knife to take them off. As for the end cap, i gave it a twist and the rivit just broke off and that was that.
