I need to be a whore with something, with my last car it was wheels (14 sets in two years, 18 total over 8 years,) maybe this time it will be front air dams....hehe. :p

Anyway, I worked on the fitment of the rear apron today, I it got close, I think the first pic shows the extent of the damage from when the snow plow hit it, it shows in the shadow from the character line and along the top of the bumper.

and probably is best illustrated by the SUNLIGHT shining through the bumper.

Looks like I've got allot of work ahead of me before my repaint this winter. :curse:

Any tips to gloss up the paint?

Yes yes, I know. Pictures curtesy of Nokia. I'll have a real shoot once I actually clean the car and figure out the skirts better. These are just temp (both the pics and the current state of the skirts)...

I also don't have endcaps in the back...

Here is a idea, you know how some e30 with NO skirts look so cool cause the front air dam is So much lower then the rest of the car? Hence, making the front of the car look like a brick wall?

What if you painted the bottom, just say inch or 2 of the skirts black? You'd get a "body kit" feel to the skirts, but still have the aggressive "flying brick" feel...Plus a bit of protection from rocks...and a very factory kind of look...

Might be worth a P-shop at least...

    ...

The are exactly the same, even the cabin is exactly the same size. Unibody, etc. is all shared.

I've told several friends and other people about it, and they all think it's awesome that they fit, and that they were so cheap. One guy I told said "Hey, at least a Ford Taurus came in useful for something!". :D

At any rate, it's nothing worth arguing over. No one has to like them, most people seem to, and only a handful don't. That's their opinion, and they're entitled to it.
Case in point? Randy Spears (spelling?) put honda skirts on his show car.

In my eyes I see a lot of folks here jumping on the bandwagon of "Bash on FORD"...yes they are crap but I think most people already know that. For those who don't, they needn't to be bothered. Let them be.
