Yeah I have had no problems out of my late model E36. E36 4-doors are awesome.

Looks like you got a great deal. I would have gone for it.. 150k for under $2500? Sweet.

I need to find a deal like that..

Exactly, you buy an early E36 to flip because most owners just don't get it when the windows and everything else dies to replace the comfort relay for 28 bucks. Then fix the control arms and send down the road for 3800 vs the entry price of 1200.

Yeah, my 328is doesn't have bubbling door panels, falling headliner, bad fan final stage resistor (though it did have the digital climate go on the fritz until I replaced a cap). Everything else is a matter of maintenance--front end, cooling system, etc.

TJ, the 328i and 328iS are differant animals than the early E36 cars. I would not mind a late model 328i 4 door whore but it would need to have mods and fix the dreaded front end.

You got a nice color example so it ages well.

When are you going to re-shell the drive train/suspension into an e30? ;)

    Umm, no they aren't.

Car looks good man. I love hearing the E30 vs. E36 debate every time it comes up. You got a pretty good deal on it.

yeah, broad st and dominion blvd near innsbrook. dumbass soccer mom!

and i'm really pissed i had to get rid of my RKs. those were the deal of the century when i picked them up ($400), but i sold them and made a pretty decent profit.....now i need new wheels...and an e30 for the side.

also, i think the inside is a pretty pleasant place to be (compared to my e30), but for sheer driving fun e30 ftw

I have a hard time getting excited about E36s unless they're really, really, really clean and well maintained. Plus I spent the day toiling over a beat-to-hell 160k mile E36 that needed THOUSANDS of dollars worth of work.
