Still is nice and discrete. Is there even an amp anywhere? A headunit? Or is it just a direct signal from the CD changer to the two speakers? I never investigated that at all.

There is an Alpine amp that now occupies the space where the heater core used to be, and the controller in the dash is a preamp level controller for the changer in the trunk.

Cool. It's neat to own a car that I'm constantly learning new things about.

So no heater core? When I turn the fan on, the temperature knob shouldn't do anything then, correct? All I have control over is which vents I want air out of and how much air I want?

Now that I think about it... Maybe it was the AC thingy that I removed...

          You should still have heat.

Sounds right. That air gets WARM coming out of there. Hot even. Gonna be a PITA at Buttonwillow or Willow Springs in the summer.

110* ambient air temps at those tracks some days.

Those are nice mounts Ben, I remember hearing TC talk about the benefits of the spherical RSM's over the bushing type like GC, BMP, Turner, etc...I think it was at Gateway Tech, back when they still ran it in St. Louis..

Glad to hear that since that is what I put on mine.... At least their product will be better than their customer service anyways...

It's a solid metal bearing holding the strut in place, as opposed to a rubber mount. Not recommended for cars without reinforced shock towers.
