    I've been in M635 withdrawal...

My car was out for a new tranny and the timing chain tensioner and rails, along with a few other things, but for several reasons, it took forever (6 mos.).

So...I got it back not too long ago, and finally found a little bit of green to take a few pictures in the ridiculous heat and the land of brown grass.

The car is looking a little rough and the brand new tires look amazingly dull (forgot the tire shine in my trunk ), but I've been itching to take some pix since I got it back...

Looks very nice. I love eurod 6ers. Too bad the US ruined early e30s, e28s and e24s.

i really do agree. i like the e28's but the driving boards really kill the look. i love my M535i though. Euro MTech 1 FTW.

Exactly. I HATE US spec E24's. They look like ass. That one is very nice.

Nice 6er for sure. I don't know much about E24's...what differentiated the M635 from the 635csi? Which M30 is in it?

Doesn't the M635 have an S38? The earlier version of it?

The M635CSi and M6 are the BMW Motorsport-developed versions of the E24 6 Series. They use the M88 or S38 twin-cam 24-valve inline-six-cylinder engines first introduced in the M1.

                            Looking good, as always.

BTW, You're the one that had Haygood do a dual rail conversion done on your car, right?
