            haha! Chase.
Aight, another day's work ahead hopefully get those #$#*^$& bolts that hold the trailing arms off today.
Also the shocks are so gone that I compressed (with one hand) the rear and hung it upside down and it still hasn't rebounded overnight.
I don't think your mom appreciates the value of those modifications

It will be fun if it's set up right. Get a mechanic that specializes in rotary engines, not any old mechanic or your best friend. Rotaries sound like ass, but they sure are fun.

The 4 rotor mazda engine is a R26B. I don't think they made a street or detuned version, but if so, it's the 26B.

The inside joke Teauger was hinting was from the E30 wide body thread that some genius's decided to comment on...

Ok while I've got a lot of people viewing this.
                  1. I'm having major trouble with the bolts that hold in the rear trailing arms. Completely frozen, I would like to get em loose without dropping entire subframe, any advice?

Remove the subframe and replace the subframe bushings too. No point doing something half assed.

All i can say is good luck getting 290hp outta that 1.3 litre, it will have the torque of a an ETA when its done and will get 7mpg. But rock on.

                              4 rotor: 787b race car

I don't think a rotary is a very good swap though. There is a company that is just does LS1 swaps into FDs and the cars come out lighter than when they come in while still retaining AC and full interiors. I also don't like the way rotaries deliver their power, they seem totally torque less.

The swap that i have been dreaming of is the F20c. Lightweight, powerful, bulletproof and none of that turbo nonsense.

So then a stock e30 325i should be able to waste an FD right? heavier with the less power? (this is sarcasm fyi)
the 3rd gen 13b-rew makes 255hp/200tq in stock form we're planning on upping the boost a little and removing intake/exhaust restrictions, i dont think 290 is far-fetched at all
