It's cute to see a lot of people talking about getting a car low enough that aren't low enough.

SpasticDwarf - First of all your rear sits perfect because you have late model low arches out back which help out major. That's good stuff if you're a fan of rake. Camber plates will get the front down a little more, and you should probably have them anyways if you want to be able to align your car as low as you want it... but to truly get low enough you'll need some custom work with shorter shocks. Well. If you want to still have any semblance of a decent ride. Are you riding bilstein or koni?

Some people aren't keen to the ultralow, but at least you have suspension travel to go with your very custom setup. Does Koni sell shorter shocks?

fcuk GC plates. Vorschlag/Motorforce plates have less stack height. i have compared the 2 side by side, also, the Vorschlag plate is just superior in construction.

Thanks Rob. Sounds like Vorschlag it is. I'll order as soon as I find some money. I'm broke. :(

You never did say , are you'r struts shortened ?

And yes its well established that the Vorshlag/Motorforce camber plates are the best units out there and the shortest stack height .

If you don't shorten the strut housings and go with shorter inserts then the Vorshlag plates will get you as low as you can with what you are running .

The 240's wheels are SSR reverse mesh, 16's, I think they're 7.5" wide, -5 offset.
you sure they are reverse mesh? the lips would be different.
they wheels look to be SSR Formula mesh.
-formula mesh has flat lips like those, reverse mesh has stepped lips.

oh, super clean cars btw. love your e36 with the borbets

E30Devo: you can get stock spring diameter hats or coil-over diameter spring hats for the camber plates. Makes it so you can switch over without have to buy an all new camber plate setup.

Thanks man. I really appreciate it!

                            To others-
I want my car lower because, well, thats what I like. Dumped is where it's at. Like my e36-

I will add a lip when I have the funds.. meaning after my e36 is done :( $9k in, $1k left.. roughly.

                            And they are sportmaxes.
I want the lower offset ones, these dont have enough lip :)
Are you selling your Sportmaxes? If so PM me a price. I'm on Bimmerforums too. I like the stance yours has now. What setup are you running?
