I stopped by a buddies fabrication shop in Duarte, CA (Groma Race Fabrications www.gromafab.com). He was showing me his 1990 325i. He swapped out the motor with a 530i motor and supercharged it. Its still a work in progress. Heres a few pics. In the engine bay on the top left corner theres a hole for the intake tube to follow. The vent under the passenger windshield wiper is going to be used as an air dam. Look pretty sick. I'm bored, just thought Id like to share.
He re-altered a lot to his e30. The rear suspension has been completely redone. First time Ive ever seen it, but the rear springs are in the trunk at an angle towards the tailights. Its supposed to absorb any movement. I tried to push the back of the trunk lid and it didnt even budge. Thats how stiff it was. I guess since the suspension is located in the trunk, he put the battery in the back passanger seat. I love passing by there and taking a look at her. I will get more pics updated next time I swing by his shop.
