The guy in Canada that imports these cars (both her white E24 M635 and this car came from Japan) does sell on eBay, but I don't think he ever got this one listed. She grabbed it pretty quickly once she drove it.

They are stock Alpina seats (or stock for all 507 of these things ever built). They are Recaros with Alpina cloth, which is probably not easy to come by.

I have to say that my pictures really don't do this car justice - it looks far better in person.

Pretty hard. There are only two or three in the US. There is a black one for sale on the West Coast for $48K I think. Federalizing these cars isn't exactly fun.

Used to live right around the corner from Anita, very nice lady with an excellent taste in cars. I've seen most of her cars from the e39 540, L6, 2x m6's, e24 alpina, e39 m5, m635csi, and her latest e34. It was always neat to see what new car she had brought home.

Love it, other than the steering wheel, looks so out of place in that car for some reason....

You know, when I first looked at it I thought the same thing. I guess I'm so used to seeing E34's with the airbag wheel. Once you sit behind the wheel, it is perfect.

I looked into importing a certain car last year. It wouldnt by any chance be Will? He's a very cool dude. And yeah I remember that one in Canada that was being sold. Looks remarkably similar.

Well - you'll see some better pix pretty soon of the car. A pal of hers is coming up to catch the Alpina in the Fall colors, but thanks for the compliment. I think the mileage is around 100K.

Also appreciate the love for the M635. I like the Style 5's as a good period look, but my Rondell 72's will be powerdercoated, probably this spring. I'm a big 5-spoke fan and love how easy to clean they are! Also, these Style 5's are OK, but not clean enough for me to keep on the car.

Lots more pix here (Style 5's) and here (the 72's).

There is 1 in Iceland (black) and 1 one the way to Iceland (Ferrari yellow) 8)

Anita is super cool. She really knows her stuff also, not just one of those types that ends up driving lots of cool stuff because her hubby.

Her B10 Bi-Turbo is a seriously nice example also. From the few I've seen, it's easily the nicest.
