It's got a Hydraulic setup from the 7series I think... not my favorite setup though, loads of travel then it bites super hard.
I'll try and get more pictures of the motor, it's a M50b25, with Vanos delete,
The bottomhas forged rods and pistons, with a S50b30euro crank... making it 3.0lt, there is still some power to be had as the head is failry stock, but just with some big duration cams (not sure exactly what duration)
The throttles are off a S50b30, and they have generic trumpets installed, but modified to fit on the end of the ITB's.
Power wise, the car is making about 10-15kw more than a S50b30euro motor... not bad especially when u think that there is loads that can still be done, on the headers, ports and valves.
I agree that the rims dont do the car justice, but when I am done with my 5 hole conversion (E36 hub on e30 spindle) , if it works properly on my race car he will be doing the same conversion, with a similar brake setup (E46 M3 disc and Willwood 6 piston Calliper)
Either that or he will be buying a set of Original Alpina's or my Borbet A's ... would be nice if I had 9" wide rears would suit this car so much.
The thing that I'm really loving is that it's his weekend toy... so everytime I see it, it's more stripped out, and lighter :D
