well, not really. more like driving a few miles up a dirt road.. the view was awesome though, I wish my camera didn't suck so much!

my car is obviously very dirty, and my is lip is off the car for painting:







the wheels fit great, they lick the rear fenders a little bit but a good rolling will solve that problem :)

WOW. VERY NICE picture. You really did a nice job with that one. What suspension are you running? Also, the wheels fit the car beautifully. I have to say that's the "cleanest" iX I've ever seen.

thanks, I wish the zoomed pic didn't turn out so blurry, but my friend was speeding up and my camera is like 5 years old :P

the suspension is H&R sports for the ix and Koni SA's. when the car is settled you can't even put your fingers between the fender and the rear tires, which probably makes it look lower than it really is. 8)

no, because it's been raining all week and the car is dirty. I wasn't planning on taking any pics yesterday but I happened to have my camera with me.. I'll take some on wednesday when I get the lip back on, it's supposed to be nice all week. my camera doesn't do the wheels justice, either. :)

Is the front track on iX's wider? It looks like the fronts stick out a lot more than the rears.

yeah, it's 4mm wider. my track now measures 1454mm in front and 1450mm in rear (stock is 1420 front 1416 rear). on an is the rear is wider than the front.

these aren't 15" ix basketweaves, they're euro weaves ;)

they aren't really the same wheel, they are the same size but the spokes are shaped different, there is more lip and there is a -17mm difference in offset.
