I was hoping you were going to keep the manifold how it came as I was contemplating a similar budget build.
Sorry to thread jack but is it feasible to have a reliable $2-2500 turbo setup including MS. I figure about 550 for a 666 mani, 750 for the turbo. $300 for a fleabay intercooler and plumbing. Probably another 200 for oil lines and misc fittings fittings. I'm sure there is a bunch of other crap. Does any one have a detailed list of all required parts for the simplest reliable daily driver type turbo setup. I'm only shooting for 250 whp but want it to run all day everyday.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I didnt leave the manifold orig. because I am using an external weastegated turbo, I had to add a wastegate pipe on it. I think it could be possible to build a turbo charged car for that, but like anything, you get what you pay for.- I bought a majority of my parts used, which save quite a bit, but I am sure I am going to go over the price you mentioned before the car is safely running, and still not to sure how "daily" it will be.
yes, they are oversized ballon U.S. style(manly man) tires on the car.--- they were all 4 free, so I didnt really care about the size
and ryan, you know I am just trying to be like you with the M3 and a turbo car- just I am not cool enough for a vert! your vert is still my favorite non M e30 out there.
