hot damn that's a nice car. I've been trying to decide between an e24 and an e28 as my next car; this definitely decides it! It'll be even more badass with the s38. My parents have a mugellorot e34 M5, yours looks the same color.
Mine is Zinno otherwise known as Cinnabar Red, and it has had a very high quality respray.

i just read your write up on the bumper install, and although very thorough, i don't like how you filled all the holes in the rear with bondo and patches. My friend and I patched each hole the right way and it looks beautiful on his 87 535is. I'd look at the back of that car all the time and just think "bondo"

Cool to see you make your way over here Austin. One of my favorites on the mye28 board. :)

That is definitely one of the most pristine e28's I've seen. You tantalize us with all these pictures but fail to post any interior or engine shots? I'm awfully disappointed. The only critique I have is I'm not a big fan of the emblems on the wheels. They just scream tacky to me. Everything else...
That has got to be the hottest e28 I have ever seen. They are far and few around here but nothing like that. Great job on the car.

I know it isn't the right way, but bondo has progressed a lot from what it used to be and I would have loved to do it the right way with acutal metal but this was just what I was able to do right now. It didn't turn out too bad, it was a good learning experience, probably wouldn't do it again though.
I'll post some engine and interior shots soon. I really just haven't taken any for some reason. Eventually I plan on redoing the whole interior with M-Tech cloth, and suede, but that's a ways down the road.
Thanks for all your input guys.
