    323i 325 project

Hi - snapped a few pics of my 2nd henna car today. My mates car slipped into a few of the pics.

I1984 Henna Red 323i with 325i Motronic motor.

    Motor has:

Full rebuild with these things done:
    Lightened + Balance crank
    Lightened + Balanced con rods
    Lightened + Balanced flywheel.
83mm pistons - rebore and rehone.
323i head from creating raised compression.

    Other mods:

Jamex Daytona seats (I'd like to say the flash makes them purple - they clearly are black when you look at them normally!)

Half stripped interior (1070 kg with full tank of gas)
Jamex 40mm Prog springs with Bilstien Sport dampers.
    Urethane bushes.
    Custom 2.25 inch exhaust.

Cosmetic - stock as! The way I like it.

Still have to get the cage put in up to motorsport new zealand standards and will most likely compete in New Zealands Targa Bambina next year.

Motronic motor in 323i - odd hah.

hah here everyone wants facelift cars and not the chrome - I prefer the pre-facelifts though.

It took a long time to get like that - the paint was extremely faded when I got it - the Meguiars three step crystal system worked wonders - the Paint Cleaner, Polish then Wax.

You can see how faded it is here on the side toward the front.

                    much better! 8)

looks great, henna is one of my fave E30 colors. I also wasn't aware that other countries got stuck with the 14" weaves, I thought that was a US only thing.

Wow, the bumpers look sexy. Looks like you put in a lot of work and it obviously paid off. Enjoy the car and the new motor :)
