The differance is night & day. I know you put many long hours into it great job! My first BMW a 72 2002 was just like that when I got it (in 1980) I was 18 & literally replaced it myself 1 part at a time (had 7K in reciepts from Zipper BMW) when I was done it was a ground up restored perfect car, just in time for it to burn to the ground because a drunk girl ripped off the filler side rear fender & blew it up. Insurance gave me 7K & I bought a perfect 72 2002Tii Man I loved that car!

My only questoin is while you had the motor out why didn't you paint the engine bay?

Denis, have I ever met you at Desoto Speedway? I remember last time I was there, maybe a year ago, my friend was talking to a guy that owned an E30 and worked at a junkyard.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

You guys want to talk about spoiled??? here is spoiled:

2004 owned by my wife's 18 year old his father is a checkbook Dad, spends an hour a week with his three kids but buys them whatever they want. This is a Peugeot 206cc has a clamshell roof and almost enough room inside for a 12 yearold girl (if she is small) the engine has no power, literally this is the stupidest car I have ever driven (320,000 pesos)
about $35k Heres a link to it's site:
This domain name has been registered with Gandi.net. It is currently parked by the owner.

Then we have this: 17 year old's car. (at least this was used when it was GIVEN to him) 2002 Passat I like it and usually I don't like Volkswagens its a 1.8T and seeing as the car weighs 1,000, 000 pounds (slight exageration) it moves ok. I LIKE the auto stick or whatever Volks calls it. See how clean he keeps it?

Mind you these kids hardly appreciate these expensive cars (or anything they have for that matter) Precicesly because it's all free. THe Passat has been in the body shop 3x in the 6 months he has had it!

I was lucky my parents let me buy their 2 year old 1976 Datsun B-210 Hatchback for 1800 (was worth like 2400) on payments when I was 16!

meh. no one likes my car but i dont bitch about it. its not fast, its not the best around, its nothing special. i like it, but i dont expect everyone to and i sure as hell know its not that fast. looks like you put a lot of effort into the car, but like everyone else has already said, lose the sticker and the mirrors.

and why do you have m5 in your name when you don't have an m5?

///M Powered the front bumper came out good but i had to play with the front valance a little to get it right, and the the rear bumper was just a bitch to do, i used Jordans guide how to do it, and it looks great now, only with looks gay is you gonna need a rear valance on a lower skirt like i got.

Digitalwave Yes i do race there some times and that probably was me lol.

parkerbink i didnt paint the engine bay because i wanted to get back on the road faster, all i was thikning at that time was to get that car faster, now i see that is really needs to be painted, but o well guess ill tape off the engine and rest of hte stuff and spray it.

DarkWing6 i will take that sticker off but i dont know about the m3 mirrors because i sold my stock ones, but ill see, i kinda like them lol.
heres a pic of my parts car that i had, i also got a vidoe clip of the car but dont know how to post it.

I really like that intake setup. How did you piece it together? Is the piping from a specific car, or did you custom fit it together? The ABS stuff would make it a lot more difficult for me to pull it off. Not sure how long the elbow before the AFM will hold up bent like that though.

Have you driven the 206? I am 5 foot 9 and I feel cramped in it with the roof up or down! there is no room at all in there. The leather is nice, the motor is buzzy, whiny and has no power even on cam. Because of the clamshell there is alomst no trunk and forget about the back seat. It´s a package shelf. Now the 307 thats nice!

Dude what the hell do you expect? It's a 3rd world country, at least here in Brazil you can't buy a car that has more than 100hp for less than $20k in brazilian Reals. I'm 6ft+ and I fit fine on the 206. I drove one several times already, I'll take a picture of the car later on if you want it.

This is a country where my e30 in the US will spank 90% of the cars on the road. And given the horrible roads of Brazil, you only want a car for comfort. I pity the fool who is dumb enough to lower his car. In this country Ferrari owners RAISE their cars.

I want a car for it's comfort here. The 206 provides a nice amount of power compared to it's competitors, and it has much more class and styling, then let's say, VW Gol ( or Pointer over there ), Fiat Palios, and Ford Kas and Fiestas.

Brazil is a shithole when it comes to roads. I just got back from Argentina and I'm ashamed of how my country is being maintained.

Edit: I drove a 4dr 206, maybe the convertible roof has less head space, but then again, who the hell wants a convertible car if you can't use it? People here are kidnapped at traffic lights for driving VW Golfs which are like $50k cars over here.

I just think for 35 grand there should be some power & space but wtf do I know?

Like I said I do like the interior.
