Dont just get taller sidewalls because you want the rock-crawler look. If you increase the OD from the proper spec (25.4" or something like that..) your car will be even slower than it already is. Hard to believe, I know, but yes it can be slower than it is.

It's actually the fastest Eta I've ever driven, taking a couple hundred pounds out of a car does wonders for its performance. The car weighed in around 2400lbs with Haugland and myself in it. I don't remember the exact weight due to a hangover at the time.

As a side note I think it's amusing how many people on here fall into the Dubber category. However, if all you care about is stretching tires, having your offset perfect, and dialing in your stance it really makes the car more of a low rider in my eyes(euro or not).

I feel bad for any of the spec e30 guys here who have like bright yellow 325's. They must get instantly banned from here for not trying to tuck rim.

hahahaha... that is the fucking truth.

Now, I just need better tires all around, these are a couple of years old Kumho's, and I wanna step up to Hankook's or Azenis. Traction is such a fucking issue right now that I am really afraid of turboing it with anything less than 225's. Hopefully throwing in 3.73's will reduce some of my current wheelspin.

It may ride a little high, but I am supposing that because they are like 335# spring rate (vogtlands) that taking a lot of that weight will actually help the overall performance in the end. It needs an alignment badly, but overall this thing handles pretty well.

Overall, thanks for the love and the hate. It is different for a reason, and so far I havent come across someone who 'Just kind of likes it' they all either love it or fucking hate it.

All in all, very happy I have this instead of my Trans Am.

paint the lower rocker areas below the doors black, it will flow better. Also, i IMHO, i wouldnt introduce red onto that car, maybe a silver pinstripe to go with the B&W theme. Wish i had a bastard e30 to whore out...

Well the TSW's already have a red wheel nut, so it should match... Worse case scenario is I have to remove the pinstripe. No biggie, I will just experiment. Silver would probably look pretty bad ass. I actually have a lot of Ford pinstripe lying around, maybe I will use their silver and red one.

I am going to paint the rockers, just need to take a break. Painting that thing got me pretty burned out.

I have Vogtlands and Koni's on my eta. They are great springs, I love the way that car drives.

@ WillisE30-- I didnt mean to sound like I think all eta's are terribly slow. My old 4-door had a very healthy motor and ran great. Very quick and torquey little car. And of course, the gas mileage was great.
