my trip down memory lane

So my mom calls me up today because she's having problems with her new computer and wants me to take a look at it. So I go over and fix her problem, and got to looking at all of my old car pictures from 6-8 years ago when I first got it. Someone else had done a thread like this, so I thought why not. No new updates - it's just fun to see where it was and where it went.

11 of 2002. Gotta love the tenzo-R cup holder (I completely forgot about that thing, but it worked tits.



put on some HnR Sports and picked up the CF mirrors... 12/02 or something like that


de-fucked the interior with some SRD's

went back to amber clears - this is when I started to "grow up" and tastefully modify the thing.

Cleaned up the interior a bit with m matts, factory e30 knob, back to the stock steering wheel, etc.




Then the dark days came... went down for over a year and a half for the 2.5



BUT... it was worth it

It's still different than that now... but these are old pictures only. 2002 is back in the day now... we're getting old.

Its weird how the owner grows up as well as the car. Its odd that people start off with the most ridiculous things on their cars and then just like that they start to appreciate the more subtle approach to style. For Christ's sake, I rocked eBay tails for a while and thought it looked good. No I have to keep myself from vomitting every time I see them.

thanks man and no kidding. I look back on it and I was like, "WTF was I thinking?" We've all been there. The amber front turn signals was like the first step in taking the car back to a more "adult" direction.
