Looks like you spent alot of time on this E30! I did something similar. i got a 1986 325e for $200, built it up to something nice and got rid of it for a 1991 318is

7K is alot of $$$ you can get a "not so good" "wasn't taken care of" e30 M3 for that kinda of money. Heck, i know a guy who bought a bad a$$ M3 for 6500 with 90K on the car and in min condition. and to pay 7K for a regular e30 just blows my mind. i understand its a cabby and all, but man, 7K is ALLOT. have i stresses how i think 7K is overkill?

the market here is way different than in germany - and it's even more different in canada. 7k isn't really too bad for a late model (looks like a 93+) cab in a rare color, with less than 100,000 miles.

also, a $7000 "not so good" E30 M3 will probably cost you $10-$20k in repairs and restoration to get it into a car you'd actually want to drive.

I understand a similar car in Germany would probably sell for like $2000.. but this ain't germany. ;)
