also, a $7000 "not so good" E30 M3 will probably cost you $10-$20k in repairs and restoration to get it into a car you'd actually want to drive.

I understand a similar car in Germany would probably sell for like $2000.. but this ain't germany. ;)
    yup !! its 93:oops:

yeah, you can find beat into the ground E30s all day long for $1000-1500 but finding something nice is expensive, if you can find something at all.

$7,000 is waaaaaay too much, i got mine with 90,000miles everything in perfect condition, always taken to a mechanic for work. for $800 from a pontiac car dealership. car hasn't let me down yet.

you got really lucky. $800 hardly buys a running car most of the time.

hmm thats what i am thinking about right now, my freind has another e30 its 1989 with M20 low miles engine. it has abented raddi support , what i was thinking about is buy the car of him. swap plastic bumpers, get his springs and shocks(H&R race +biilli) and do the 327i conversion. i am still confused about it .

I love your silver car. It looks good and it keeps getting better. Get a rear lower valance and some euro bumps and some springs. Call it a day after that. 7000 does sound like a lot but E30s are only getting more expensive as the year push on. So my vote is to keep it and just save your money to finish your car visualy and then keep saving up. You may have 2 E30s in the future.

man. i want a vert e30. i will see if i could get the price alittle bit down. if so i am selling my e and buy the convertable.

as if i kept my e . here is the list that i have to do:

                                1.plastic bumper conversion.
                                2.M-tech2 rear valance.
                                3.H&R race springs+ billi sports.
                                4.kopi's (painted metalic black)
                                5.327i conversion.

                                that about 6000+ in parts!!!!!!
