try a hobby shop. testors transparent paint for rc car bodies works real well too... and is only around 5-6 bucks a can.

that works pretty good at first, but it fades a lot. i sprayed mine with it about 4 months ago. put on about 4 coats. now they are almost back to stock, just from sun fade.

yep. probably coulda done another coat of clear, but the rc paint isnt really made to be outside all day everyday.

If you clear coat the high beams, the stuff will come off. You need the plastic film protection, like X-pel.

I used VHT on my Volvo a few years ago...still holding up fine with clearcoat, but I did not go anywhere near as dark as you did...I did like 2 coats...and you can only really tell if it is a little dark outside that it was done. no one has ever noticed.

Do yourself a favor and go to a long strip of road and park your E30 at the end, go to the other with the 740 and accelerate as fast as you can and nail the E30 head on. Be sure to have your seat buckle undone and see if you can fly into the E30 like on GTA4. This would be much more preferred than your current situation, and you won't have to worry about your bad choice in mods being an issue any longer.
