What's the height of the front fender?

Does anybody know how much heavier the 318is is than the early 318i?
It's a 250 lb. difference Ken. The 318is is about 2600 lbs. and your 318i should be about 2350 lbs. (those are the factory stock weights anyways).

Well the weight difference would explain a lot. I (150lbs) can stand on my rear bumper and it'll go down 1 - 1.5".

Now just go back your car up to a pool, get on the bumper, jump a couple of times, and put those diving boards to good use!

According to IEs website, the Stg 3 springs only lower an e30 (I assume they're referring to a 325) 2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.
I wonder why his car is so dumped now.... :?:

Matt said that's how much it's lowered. I measured from my fenders and from what he told me, 2 in the front and 1.5 in the rear still applies to the 318.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Thats odd. The 318is is a good 200 lbs. lighter than the 325.

The 318is must be much lower from the factory than my 318 if it's slammed and it was only lowered 2/1.5.

Maybe it depends on your definition of slammed. I know the H&Rs don't do too much. These are supposed to get the front wheel to fill the fender, and a little (1/2 inch) fender cover on the rear wheel.

Very true. Billy Sports are high pressure gas charged, which will tend to raise the car a bit. Koni Yellows would probably raise the car a little less, if at all.
