Lol. I traded my 325i and 2 grand for my 2002. It isn't even a roundie. Do it! Who needs ABS, power steering, catalytic converters, and fuel injection. Get in touch with your rugged side :)

if the vert is your only car, i wouldnt do it. If the vert is a toy/secondary vehivle, id look into it. 02' for a daily is silly if you ask me.

No way. M42 FTW. Besides, there were less than 4100 318iCs imported to the US, it's kind of fun driving something so odd.

Sup guys, I went to get an estimate for a passenger door dent on my 1991 318i this afternoon, and the owner asked me if I'd be willing to trade. So I asked what he had and he showed me this newly sprayed white 70 2002 done right. I mean door jams, engine bay, trunk etc. Interior is cherry. All chrome and trim intact, all lights work except for signals and the relay/switch for the wipers need to be replaced. It has e30 bottle caps and the guy said the biggest downside is a custom sunroof?

Anyways, he's got me thinking but I don't know much about them but I've always liked the 02s. Please share any thoughts and if it is a good/bad idea. Here are pics of my e30.

Thank you all for the feedback and opinions. Glad this board exists! Since some of you pointed out the cut roof and possible rust being simply painted over, I am going to stick with the e30. Thanks again! :D
