What happened to the stiletto's? She looked nice and cheap in em.

tennis shoes and shin tight leather doesn't work well.
I didn't seal the faces, got salt on them and forgot to clean the wheels right away. I couldn't polish off the oxidation so I took the wheels apart and sent them in for a deep polish and ordered brand new stainless steel hardware from Germany to put them back together.

If I knew how much this was all going to cost due to my mistake I would have sold the wheels and bought some 16" 3 piece Hartge instead. :(

HOLY... I miss driving in this car when L had it... you did a great job finishing her off, love the interior change!
I have to thank him for letting her go as I'm all smile when I'm driving her in the sun.

It's been almost a year since I had the 3pc wheels disassembled and polished so I thought it is time to finally put them back together.

Here are some of the pieces

The new stainless steel hardware from Germany

                    Bolts inserted

The cheap asian labourer I hired

Once all the wheels were assembled and nuts torqued I got some RTV sealant to seal up each wheel. Being OCD doesn't really help with speeding this part of the process up

The Kodiak lips require a 6mm velve stem so I picked these up at the local Harley Davidsen dealership

Finally get to test fit the centercaps I had made last year as well

I think I liked the old wheels better. Nice car though.
