Lived with this e30 for 16yrs.

Well first of all I am not new to e30's, but i am new to modding them. This car has been in my family ever since it was brand new. Its a 1985 318i bought in Germany, but build in US spec for import(boooo.). Has some additional factory mods like wind deflectors, mud flaps, a zender wing, and to finish it off some ///M badges.

how the car sat 16 years ago(before I was born fyi)

Sadly however the car has been sitting around for about 2 years, and slowly went downhill. Late last year my dad decided to get the car back in running order and has been running like a champ up to this day.

how the car sits 16 years later....

This e30 is basically the same car it was 24 years ago, and now that I'm getting my license will be passed down to me. :nice: However as of now my sister is driving it and she has a bad history with cars so I just hope she doesn't crash my future car.

I really love this car and have plans to restore it back to its original glory and then some.

I would love to get some advice on where to start with this project/daily driver.

I'm usually not that guy, but lose the M badges and you'll be good!

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

I don't think il be doing euro bumpers for a while. After paint I plan to do the suspension(the usual H&R/Bilstein setup). Anyone have suggestions on a cheap exhaust and wheel setup? I was peepin at the IE catback exhaust and maybe some bbs rs replicas.
