I might be for flat blacking the bumpers, i'm not sure about the tails I was thinking more like all red in back and tinted lights up front. As for the wheels i'm gunna keep them as is and put spacers on them to fill in the fender gap. The painted bottle caps i've seen aren't that nice IMO.

Smoked headlights look good, just make sure to do it the right way. if you spray tint the Sealed beams theyll be as bright as a bathroom candle.

All red tails are good also.

Ive seen one painted bottlecap with the spokes masked off i like

I just went through this thread and it gave me a lot of ideas that I like. I'm thinking about ditching the zender wing for an iS or pfeba. Also for the db's im thinking about doing like a 50-75% tuck and painting the chrome flat black, but im going to paint all the bumper trim delphin including the bumper strip.

Haha. I almost literally had to fight my mom from giving the car away to the local goodwill. Kind of hard to give up all the memories I had and will have in this car.

Welcome! Make sure your sister doesnt fuck it up any more than it is. Without a doubt, no questions asked you have to get everything thats broken, fixed and in running order. THEN mod it. I know it sucks to hear and do, but trust me. Once you start modding the car, its gonna need to be in good running order for when you flog it.

I know what you mean . These cars are a pain to deal with if not taken care of over the span of 24 years. But so far this car has seen good progress mechanically speaking. The motor still has good compression, and all the fluids have been flushed and replaced. Along with all the brakes getting an overhaul and new tires about 3k miles ago. Only things that need fixing is that a new fuel pump is need along with fixing some shorts in the wiring. So far it seems that this project will be going along quite well.

sounds like your going to have a lot of fun with this car and it makes it even more special that it has been in the family all of its life. when it is all done up and lookin good, you mom and pops are gonna be jealous. Also from the plans your talkin about, it sounds like your doing a lot of stuff right. read a lot on here, and take care of the paint first because you dont want to leave that behind.

I had a working check panel in a 84, all the sensors functionced correctly. 84's are low option cars, but I loved mine!

How did you get it to work?? When i took off my check panel I only had two wires going into it. The check panel I took out of the 91 had at least 20 wires comming out of it lol. :eeek:
