I dont know about ditching the wing :puppy:. I might go for a different style wing, but i would have to find one before paint so I can get the holes in the trunk lid filled(holes for wing). I was originally going to paint the wing the same color that the car was going to be along with the bumper shroud/trim.

Anyone have pics of a nice early e30 without a wing?

a two tone paint job is kind of hard to pull off. i know of at least 2 (i think) members on this forum who can pull it off. my car is delphin..i love it. id get it repainted delphin. and id lose the thing over the windows.

It will not be hard to find picture of that on here.

Go with a more simple spoiler - not a wing like that one IMO. Finding another deck-lid is not going to be hard either.

There are a LOT of options for these cars for modifications... hang around for a while and you're going to be thinking abotu bumper swaps, motor swaps, tranny swaps, suspension swaps, etc.

You will get far less grief if you ditch the ///m badge as well.

Glad to have another member aboard! Use the search funtion, enjoy the OT stuff, and learn from what there is on the site. there is a TON of information here and chances are just about everquestion that you have that car has been answered at least twice.

If you do ditch the Zender, your best bet would probably just a simple factory lip. Unless you want me to box up the pfeba spoiler i have also :P

An mtech1 would look best but usually demands about 300$

Ive seen earlys with no lip whatsoever, but i dont care for it as much.

OH and do a delphin and black theme. i dont mean two tone just leave certain things black, maybe bumpers and wheels, to go with that delphin. Just an idea

Thanks for your opinion. I've been searching for a smaller wing and came up with an iS wing, M-tech 1 wing, or a smaller 2 piece zender wing as my alternatives. If I could find an m-tech wing off an e28 in the junkyard that would be good enough for me. IMO i think the iS wing is too small, but i like the style of it.

Oh and I do use the search function. Often easier and faster than getting flamed for three pages without the answer you were looking for and inevitably get the big smiley in my face.

Anyways the only things that bother me on this car is the bad tint, oxidized chrome, ride height, ///M badges, wing, paint or lack there of, and the ugly exhaust.

I was also thinking that 2 tone would be hard to pull off without the right visual mods. I'll probably end up back with the delphin paint job and keep it simple.

I was thinking about this too. Like painting delphin and shadowline the rest of the car. I was planing to shadowline anyways. Anyone for matching bumper trim in delphin?

M tech wing would be great.

tuck the bumpers, do the 2 tone, whatever. Like I say, TONS of things that can be done. Glad to see the car has stayed in one family it's whole life!

I'd be different and keep the wind deflectors on the windows. But do a inner shadow line. But ditch the deflector for the sunroof.

delphin looks amazing after a good wax and detail. i like looking at mine when its outside..only to see that its raining right after i detailed the outside :(

                        lol.

plus delphin is kind of a rare color? as what i've been told?

So i've thought about it, flat blacking the bumpers, shadowline, and maybe black wheels would improve the looks quite a bit. Tinting the tails might be something to consider as well

Yea I'm still unsure if I want to ditch the deflectors because they are different, but I did ditch the sunroof deflector because it was ugly and left a tan line.

I think shadowline is a must cause I really like the look better than chrome. On that note should I paint the bumper chrome or leave as is and polish?
