          At what speed have you guys un-latched an e30's hood?
          Youd be surprised to find that its pretty violent.

          I did it coming in from a run several years ago doing probably about 30 going to track exit and the back of the hood lifted about a foot and slammed back down. I'm so glad i didnt bend anything.

            ^^Wierd. I've only ever unlatched it at 30-40, but I've driven up to 65 with it popped. I've done it on a few hot days to help bring the coolant temp down before parking it.
