Yes as stated the eyebrows aren't the best, but the rest of the car and the tuck look fantastic.

There's a guy on here I think that can do your tails professionally and its not too much, forget who it is though, maybe someone will chime in...

i used an old set of grills i had in the shed out back. i cut the pieces out, sanded them..and put black electrical tape to hold them in place for now. im trying to find a compound that'll hold them good..then ill sand it down and repaint.

but my real question is, did you have to drop the tranny to install the ssk? im pretty sure some guy sold me an e36 one (maybe) and we had to mod it to work. in the end, 2nd gear is annoying..and i want to replace it.
Hmm those look quite good. Can't even tell the difference from the picture. I know though that if I give it a try myself they'll come out horrible.

And for the SSK, no I didn't have to remove/drop anything except the selector rod. I didn't install one bushing however (I think the shifter arm one??) since I couldn't really figure out where it is and how to access it, so you might need to if you want to do it right.

Hmm now that I look at it that way your kinda right. As for the tails, I'm happy with them and I'm still going to sand/polish them so they should look a lot better. Plus they have a few small cracks and I don't want to spend any more money on them. The more money I spend, the smaller my budget for a respray becomes :( Especially since I kind of went crazy last weekend and ordered a bunch of random crap like cosmo coils.

Im down to about $600 now for paint money and maybe less after I figure out my brake problem. I know this won't get me a quality job and was considering having it done by some cheap place like miracle paint. If I do all the prep, body work, and provide them with good paint how bad can it be right?

Does anyone have a step by step DIY on the fake eurogrills?, I would not be able to tell if you did not mention it.

              Good looking mods mann...

i might make another set in a few days..and if i do ill take more detailed pictures. but its basically you cut out those pieces (from the first pic) and then cut them down into the correct angle for where the actual "euro" part comes in at above the light. aka the gap on US grills. i was really bored, and i didnt feel like spending 40 or more bucks on something that normal non bmw owners wouldnt notice.

You sure? My dad has an 87 vert and his dbs stuck out a bit more than my stock ones did.

Yeah, the short ones werent until later, in 87, they still would have been full sized, as crash standards were still the old ones. I think the most desirable shock is off a '90 vert IIRC
