    DCColegrove's Daily Driver:

Now you've all seen FrankenKar (my '90 M20 Powered Test Mule)...

So here is what I drive to work most days:

1991 318is...W/ all the nice stuff... Mtech II wheel, 15" weaves, iS skirts Schroth belts in 3 positions, Zen Monowiper, HID ellipsoids... etc.

2055 curb weight, 155 RWHP, 34+ MPG at cruise .
Okay... I did indeed miss calculate the kerb weight... I think my conversion from kg to lbs was defective (I'm no math wizard)... @2255

    2.0 L M42 (bored w sleeves...some pretty titanium internals as well).

Manifold and Head Port Shaped (Me... Zen).

IGN Coil over plug (+ Multi spark).

DME 1.7 Software By Dan Marx (he let me suggest what to do).

Chassis is all braced up (Us...Mason/Zen).

H&R Sports/Bilsteins Eibach ASB's (the H&R ASB's were too stiff on the road).

I'll shoot more images when I'm not to lazy to drag out the big cameras.

Before the Mtech II wheel and SRS removal:

Big Ass molly flywheel that went into it:

              Nice car!!
Not a typo...Getting a chassis light and strong is my specialty... Still has Ice Cold A/C as well....

Found this one (the air cleaner was just a prop):

EDIT: I may have added some weight back onto it though (I had to go back to the stock rear sub-frame)... I'll weigh it again and adjust the specs PRN.

How did you cut 500lbs out without stripping things like the A/C and interior?

Looks really good though, awesome car!

I may write something up about weight reduction (and safety) soon...

I started in the Aviation Industry (when I was really, really young) and it morphed into automotive and racing...

(I actually have little time to type though... I sit here in between this and that)

That is clean. I second the motion on the weight reduction part and how your car is set up overall. Great work.
