A positive difference was noticed. Only these two items where done at the same time, I can only comment on what my mechanic and I have experienced. I have read the "air flow" article and discussed this with some others. In theory this should not have had a positive outcome, I tried it and I like it.

Your butt dyno could be lying...

And like I said, cleaning all the parts probably makes the throttle butterfly open faster, hence the response.
