I don't care that they took the photos. They are public photos, and I posted them willingly on the internet. I'm not trying to get something for nothing, here.
(the only issue I had was that my house number is still in the photo, not too crazy about that)
I was super surprised to start with, and then looked at the rest of the photos. Most of the other ones look like "stock" photos from magazines or websites. I was honored to have my pics picked out of ALL the photos on the website.
Anyways, I'll be trying to get a "real" feature soon with my E28, if it EVER gets finished. I hope it will rate. Maybe they can do a feature on me (a normal guy who works on his own trash), and my obsessive collection of cars. We'll see.Slicktop City!Comment

There's really no reason to be mad about that at all. When the car was mine it showed up in a couple issues of PBMW as well as PVW.
Enjoy it!. . .

Don't charge them anything for them, but it'd probably be a good idea to request that they notify you in the case that they do use your photos in the future.

If pics of your car showed up in a magazine you'd get upset about it?
What is wrong with everyone in here. These aren't nude pictures of Adam's wife. They're a couple random snapshots from the internet, of a car that already had a legit, sanctioned feature. The car is portrayed in a positive manner.
As for contacting PBMW... stupid. Hassling the magazine will most likely bar Adam from ever getting any press on his builds ever again.. . .

Fuck me, I'd just be content with the fact that a UK-based magazine so much as mentions a car over here in the States. Pretty damn cool if you ask me, no need to be a prick about it and "sue" them.- Trey

That is a nice set of cars now the whole world know that's all, i would not worry too much about them showing your address not very many people know where Havelock or should I say "Havenot" North Carolina is. Ironically enough i still miss Cherry Point every once in a while.Comment

I have worked as photographer part-time for the last 9 years, photo copy right are not automatic. Plus he is happy with the out come, also why would you want to cause problems for a mag that gives more e30 coverage than anyone other produced, and last but not least good luck trying to get any money they are out of the country.sigpicComment

I believe you must have them catalogued with the library of congressbut it has been years since I was seriously into Photography, so don't quote me.
This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.Comment

You guys are so concerned about this, and I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't care that they took the photos. I wonder how you guys would react if the shoe was on the other foot?
I'm just happy they took mine, of course, and I'm feeling pretty good about my point and click methods right now.Slicktop City!Comment

I wouldn't get upset about it. I'm just saying, wouldn't it be nice if they atleast told you they were publishing your photos in a magazine? That's common courtesy. Plus, legally, they're not allowed to publish your copywrited photos without your consent.
I'm not saying give PBMW shit, I'm saying to request they notify you in the case of the use of your photographs. That's an honest and simple request. Any decent publication would say "Okay, no problem." and think nothing ill of it.
