Some cars can get away with the ratty look, others cannot.

E30's can get away with the ratty look, E28's cannot.

I think we established that it takes multiple wheel styles with different offsets on the car to really feel the "presence" of these vehicles.

I'm beginning to feel like a grumpy, old, scared of new things, guy at 27 years of age.

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

Please don't do this. The Volkswagen homos with gauged ears, VW tattoos and fat wannabe pin up girl, girlfriends have already done this to their cars. The E30 is a respectable machine and should not be mistaken for Volkswood and their majority of homo drivers.

Dang, harsh haha. Looks pretty cool but I need more pics to judge!!:hitler:
The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.

I think you and I have the same appreciation for M system 1 wheels!

Did you know there are two different style M system 1's? I've been told that the ones with the notches in the face are cast, and the ones without are forged. I've also been told that they are all forged, just different designs.

None the less, i have 1 wheel with the notches and 3 without. the one with the notches felt heavier, but maybe it is just my psychy knowing that that one is suposedly cast and heavier. maybe i'll weigh it today.

Cast or Forged, i do know that the one with the notches in the wheel face hit my brake calipers with 20mm spacers, and the ones without cleared... hmmm

So here are some more pics just for you

                              notches in the wheel face

                              no notches, see the difference?

here is the backside, wheel to the left is the supposedly cast wheel

even if the other one is forged, and just as light as the others, it bugged me. I planned on getting another notchless wheel and move Mr Notchy to spare tire duty, but I cam across a set of these instead...

Finally somebody mention the front fans being spaced out.

I added some spacers, and in my opinion, a bit too much! So i think i'll cut the spacer size in 1/2. I was trying to get away from the hub cap look. If the green wasn't enough, having the fan blades stick out into oncomming traffic would surely do the trick! but now that it's on the car, i don't think i like it. :(

                              pics!

Your information on the cast vs. forged is correct.. The cast ones do weigh more also..

I have a full set of forged.. :)
